Dear Friend,
Now more than ever before in our lifetimes, the theme of Divine Order-ly Chaos is reigning on Planet Earth. This is courtesy of Uranus’s entry next Friday, March 11th, into combustible Aries where the Trickster Planet of Change will be stirring things up unpredictably for the next seven years and beyond.
Adding to this theme is the ongoing challenge that Pluto, The Great Transformer, in structure-ruling Capricorn brings to the mix through 2015. Pluto’s modus operandi is creation through destruction, and that means that structures which are outmoded or unstable—internally and externally—may topple before our very eyes. Think Shiva and Shakti on a good day.
We will be witnessing more and more cracks in the culture, cracks in political systems, cracks in infrastructure, cracks in our beliefs, cracks in our bodies—all with the higher purpose of cracking open our beings wider still, to allow more Light in. Leonard Cohen’s lyric, “There is a crack, a crack in everything—that’s how the Light gets in,” is especially poignant and pertinent now as there’s gonna be a whole lotta Light coming in! Therefore, we need to prepare ourselves psychologically to remain internally stable during the lag time between the dissolving of the old order and the building of the new, which will be going on for years.
The natural human response to chaos, instability and insecurity is fear, worry, and anxiety all arising from the survival instinct in our animal nature. But it’s important to remember that whatever we feared last year—be it issues of money, love, or health—are probably not the same themes we’re focused on fretting over today.
In fact, while fear triggered by our lower nature may always arise, I’ve found it exceedingly helpful to view this instinctual arising as a perennial shell game—meaning, if it’s not one thing that triggers fear, it’s another—and the focus of the anxiety just keeps moving around. The only solution when any variety of fear arises—from dread or panic to the subtler forms of apprehension or trepidation—is to choose to pass and say, “I’m not going to play the fear game today.”
Instead, as we witness unfolding events—no matter how tumultuous—we can choose to stay calm, stable and compassionate at our core of Being by holding the faith that everything is unfolding perfectly in the Divine Plan for our personal soul growth as well as for the evolution of consciousness. Then, we will be watering our dreams and setting the tone for what will come from the highest available sources at this time.
A human incarnation is like the ultimate multi-dimensional rollercoaster ride and, no matter how circuitous and death-defying it may feel, it always ultimately leads to the same destination: we get to drop our bodies without losing our Higher Minds. And, not only is physical death absolutely safe, it’s also the only thing in life that’s absolutely certain. That being said, why do we all waste so much of our precious time worrying, when we could be fully savoring each moment’s potential for expanding our awareness of joy in Being?

In 2011 and beyond, as we witness the quickening of chaos on the mass playing field, we’re being given the opportunity to step up the level of our game with the assistance of accelerated high-frequency galactic energies. Here are my personal reminders to support this upgrade in consciousness:
I. Always maintain the witnessing perspective, which allows me to never take anything personally, no matter what is going on.
II. Keep in mind the deepest secret of Tantra: accept everything just as it is in the moment. Resistance creates suffering.
III. The Flow of Life is not under my control; my true power lies in how I choose to respond and move with it.
IV. If I go for healing and growth in any situation and simultaneously enjoy the ride, I’ll have no regrets later.
When I tuned in psychically to the effects that all of these energies will be having on us, it became abundantly clear that we’re going to need to be more internally stable and grounded than ever before to utilize all of these cosmic reinforcements in the most constructive ways.
